  • What is the minimum amount I will need to spend per month?

    For a Lethbridge business looking to run a Google Ads campaign, we typically recommend having a budget of at least $600/mo. This recommendation varies from business to business but it is a good starting point that can often get you at least 100 to 150 clicks. We also analyze performance of your ad campaign month to month and make budget recommendations as we go.

    Poorly laid out Google ads can definitely be skipped right over. We ensure that when we set up your ads, we make them compelling and use the same words that your target customer is searching for so they more close match what your customer is looking for – making them less likely to skip over them. This helps click-through-rates to be higher which also reduces the cost per click – since Google wants to incentivize advertisers that create relevant ads.

  • How do you measure the effectiveness of an ad campaign?

    We spend the first segment of the Google ad account setup on conversion tracking setup. Some examples of conversions are a phone call, a contact form submission, a successfully booked appointment, or a purchase through your website. In your monthly reports, we tell you exactly how many conversions resulted from your campaign, and the average amount you needed to spend to create each conversion.

  • How long does it take to see results from digital marketing?

    Our timeline for setting up a fresh Google Ad account is usually around 2 weeks for the setup process.

    The best part about Google Ads is that you can see results the day your campaign goes live. We spend the following months optimizing your campaign to get as many conversions as possible, but searchers will be able to see your ads right away as soon as they are approved and the campaign is live.

  • Do I need an existing website before starting digital marketing?

    Having an existing website speeds up the process, since you need a website to point Google Ads toward. But if you don’t already have a website, then we can build one for you as part of the process.     We don’t do long-term contracts for our ongoing marketing services, since we don’t want to lock you in if your campaign doesn’t meet your expectations. We simply ask for 30 days notice before discontinuing a campaign. We also always communicate to our clients that it can take a few months of optimizing to get a campaign running smoothly, so to plan to give it at least 3 months.

  • How often will I receive reports and what will they show?

    We send out monthly reports, which usually arrive in your inbox within the first 5 business days of the month. The main metric we use most of the time to emphasize in these reports is the account CPA (cost per acquisition) or cost/conversion. This helps us to see at a glance if your conversions are costing more or less on average month to month.

    These reports will also show you a breakdown of the key ad groups or campaigns that we ran ads for in the month and the cost per conversion for each.

    We’ll also talk about any specific campaigns that we’re working to improve or other key target areas that we’re focusing on and ways that we’re working to optimize your campaigns.

  • What platforms do you run paid ads on (Google Ads / Facebook / Instagram / etc.)?

    We currently focus just on search engines (primarily Google and Bing). Not all businesses benefit from Search Engine Marketing (SEM) in which case we will let you know that your business may not be the best fit for the type of marketing that we specialize in.

  • What kind of businesses do you work with?

    For our Google ad lead generation services, we work with businesses who have customers that actively search for their services. So if your customers would find you via a Google search, then you’re probably a good fit. If on the other hand, your business relies more on presenting a solution for a problem that your customer isn’t searching for help with, then Google Ads may not work for your business.
