The Geomatic Attic came to Grizzly Media due to their frustrations with their old website. While it did the job for years, it slowly became outdated and they had a hard time forcing it to keep up with the changes they wanted to make. Problems with their online Paypal integration and the inability to easily change website content motivated them to get started on a new website.
We started with a thorough Discovery process. We researched the current state of online concert venues and the array of different software used by different venues. We wanted to make sure that we looked at every option to make the process fluid for both the buyer and the seller. We also installed analytics and reviewed how users were using the website so we could make decisions moving forward.
Customer engagement was also something that was not very well implemented in the past. To improve this, we set up email marketing software and helped to facilitate mailing list signups, both with a home page opt-in and an option to sign up for the mailing list when a visitor sends a message or buys tickets.
The thorough planning resulted in a successful project, with a simple and smooth ticket purchasing process for the customer, as well as an easy process of making updates for the Geomatic Attic. The Geomatic Attic can now better engage with their visitors and continue to increase awareness and grow their fantastic concert venue.
